You’ve seen our easy cheesy soldiers, now it’s time for something mean and green. Our Seasonal asparagus soldiers are a quick, easy fix for perfect, crunchy dippers to dunk into our eco-friendly eggs. Using asparagus when it’s in season minimises food miles and ensures you enjoy your favourite foods in their prime, pleasing our planet and your tastebuds!
• 2 Respectful eggs
• ½ bunch of asparagus, woody stalks removed
Pre-heat the grill to medium-high.
Boil the eggs in a saucepan of salted water for 5 ½ minutes, until runny.
Pop the asparagus under the grill for 5 minutes, until lightly charred and tender.
Remove the tops from your boiled eggs and get dipping with your asparagus soldiers – brunch mission accomplished!
